Both children and adults can be affected by ADHD, a chemical imbalance in the brain. There are many treatments that are currently in use for the condition. Support is important when dealing with any medical condition.  It is important for the sufferer and the family that loves them.  That is no different with ADHD.  Parents and children need to know that they are not alone.

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.  This condition is common among children of school age.  What happens is that the brain does not make enough of certain neurotransmitters that are important to the function of certain areas of the brain.  The areas affected are mostly those that deal with organizational functions.
