When you work out, learn to recover properly so you are ready for the next session.

Exercise is important for everyone, regardless of age. Experts recommend 30-60 minutes of exercise most days of the week.  They are not sticklers on the exercise just as long as you get moving and break a sweat.  Strength training is recommended also for building strong muscles and bone.  Here are five tips for recovering from each workout.

1. Stretch – After a workout, while the muscles are still warm, stretch them Girl Cooling Downout.  A gentle stretch, especially of the muscles used during the workout, prevents soreness later on.  Too much soreness is one reason many people stop working out.  Stretching also prevents injuries.

2. Drink plenty of water – There are energy drinks out there on the market, but there is no substitute for water.  Water bathes your organs and cells.  You lose a lot of water through your skin as you sweat and it needs to be replaced.  Cold water is absorbed faster by the body.  Don’t drink too much at one time.  Continue to drink water throughout the day after your workout to meet your body’s needs. Woman on Exercise BallOne of the most innovative ways of working out is with exercise balls. These little balls will catch everyone’s eye due to their wide range of very attractive colors and shapes. The balls, which were introduced by a group of Swiss medical therapists, are meant to be used as a substitute of support during exercise. This being their real benefit.

Working out with exercise balls will strengthen and tone all of the major muscles of the body. The soft texture of the balls make them an ideal choice for Yoga positions, muscle toning, using dumbbells or working on heavy duty weight training equipment.

The advantage of exercise balls is that they are durable and maintain shape well under pressure. The documentation with the balls will provide test load figures for how much weight the exercise balls will hold. Glutamine occurs naturally in your body. It is an amino acid which your body produces in abundance. It can be found circulating in the blood stream and it is stored in the skeletal muscles. However, if your body is not getting enough glutamine to supply the rest of your body, it will steal it from the muscles’ supply.

We don’t want this situation because glutamine then becomes what is considered as ‘conditionally essential’. Simply stated, even though your body can make glutamine, there are times when your body’s need for glutamine is greater than its ability to produce glutamine.

During periods of stress, including extreme exercise, glutamine is literally torn away from the muscles. This weakening can cause muscle wasting while also lowering your immune function. This results in the need to replenish the depleted amounts following exercise, as well as prior to bedtime.

Would you like to lose weight without dieting? Here is a DIET-FREE way to totally transform your body that we are affiliated with and very happy to be able to share with you.
